Menschenbilder beschreiben genau diese Zwiespältigkeit, in dem sie als Sinnlichkeit und Vernunft, Leib und Seele oder Körper und Geist benannt werden. Das ethische Handeln bietet den Menschen die Möglichkeit sich selbst zu erfahren und zu einer Einheit beider Wesensbestandteile zu gelangen.
Über die Jahrhunderte haben sich die Ansichten über Menschenbilder von Theologen, Biologen und Philosophen gewandelt. Sie entwickelten Ideen und Theorien, die erklären sollten, warum ein Mensch so ist, wie er ist.
Menschenbilder reflektieren die Zeit in der sie beschrieben wurden. Sie unterliegen einem geschichtlichen Wandel und enthalten historisch und religiös bedingte Vorüberlegungen und daraus folgend ethische Konsequenzen.
In meiner Hausarbeit möchte ich mich mit den verschiedenen Ansichten der Menschenbilder auseinandersetzen.
